Activity 1.1 Instant Challenge
Cable Car Challenge
In this activity, you must assemble a team and quickly design a solution to a problem using a design process that moves as far as it can in forward motion.
Conclusion:
1.Brainstorming is helpful when trying to solve a problem because you are generating ideas that you can use collectively to come up with one grand solution to solve the problem.
2. By testing the design, the team and I did make a few modifications to the cable car such as putting the balloon inside the cardboard roll as opposed to putting the balloon under it.
3. To have a successful team, you must have leadership, commitment, trust, and responsible partners.

Activity 1.2 Instant Challenge
Aerodynamic Distance Challenge
In this activity, you have to find a solution to an aerodynamics challenge, the challenge is to design and build a vechicle from provided materials that will fly as far as possible.
Conclusion:
1. I learned that before solving a problem, it's best to do research on possible ways to construct a prototype, come with mutiple ways and settle on one. Also, think of any problems that could happen with each solution.
2. I didn't make any changes to the paper plane to make it fly a shorter distance, but I did make changes to the plane to make it fly farther, by making the front of the plane narrower, which in the end made the plane cut through the air alot smoother.
3. I think it is more productive to test your product at set time intervals, because by doing it this way you can test the product, then take note of all the things that you need to fix/tweak on the product. Then you test the product again to make sure you fine tuned everything on your product. This is the most efficent way to productively finish a well built challenge/design.
